Creating a Coaching Relationship
Your teens personal guide, motivator, and life skills builder.
One On One Teen Coaching
You would do anything to help your teen through the transition years. You want them to feel enough, embrace their uniqueness, and make strong choices alongside a trusted mentor who will support and guide them through the ups and downs.
Teens are feeling more pressure than we ever had and they can get overwhelmed! They’re trying to “be prefect” and fit in, navigate school and sometimes online learning, land a spot on the team or in the play, plan for their future career, manage social media, keep friendships & explore relationships, and understand their role in the family dynamic.
Teens need someone outside of their normal circle who will listen, reflect, guide and support them to get ahead of it all before it gets overwhelming. Your teen deserves to feel strong, capable, and empowered to handle the tough things AND get excited to dream big and go for their goals.
The process to discovery and change takes time and guidance - just like it does for adults. As a teen coach, I use hand picked proven exercises and strategies to help teens foster positive and mindful changes in their lives, creating more balance, acceptance and decreasing stress. My strength lies in working with teens who identify as female, and who are creative and artistic.
So, how does it all work? Here’s the breakdown….
Step 1 — Book an Inquiry Call
A free 15 minute call to discuss how my coaching works and how I can support your teen.
Step 2 — Schedule your Intake Session
60 minutes just you, the parent/s, and I where you share about your teen, and what your hopes are for our work together (virtually). I will also share some of the tools I would like to use with them from my toolkit.
Step 3 — One on One Sessions
We schedule four one-on-one sessions weekly via ZOOM or FaceTime (ages 11+). Using the Teen Wisdom structure, we begin our work to get your teen feeling empowered, navigating changes and moving forward with session exercises, a special journal and lots of focus on strengths, talents and what they control.
Step 4 — Follow Up
We have one 30-minute follow up sessions together (virtually), just you the parent/s and I, to check in on where your teen is now after their sessions and to discuss what future support they need to continue their growth and accountability.
*All sessions are confidential, and I follow the strict code of ethics with the ICF.
